Group Call
With T-Mobile's Group call you can hold a meeting
with up to 20 colleagues at the same time, on the
same call.
Group call is flexible, cost effective and quick
- you don't have register for the service and you
can switch between individual calls and group calls
whenever you want.
And it doesn't matter if your colleagues are on another
UK network, a landline or even overseas.
Setting up a Group call
A group call is simple to set up:
-
The group decides on the organiser
-
The organiser's number becomes the Group Identity
Number.
-
The organiser decides whether a security PIN
is required (optional).
-
The organiser informs the group of the date and
time of the call, the Group Identity Number and
PIN number (if arranged). One of the simplest ways
to communicate this is with Group text.
Making the Group call
e.g. Harry uses the Group call to conduct
weekly sales meeting with the national sales force.
If Harry's mobile number is 07950 000000, then his
team would dial 07953 953 953, then when prompted,
enter Harry's mobile number. Then all they would need
to do is either enter a pre-organised PIN or simply
press hash (#) to start the Group Call.
Alternatively, if Harry's team are calling from their
T-Mobile handset they would be able to dial 307950
000000. Then all they would need to do is either enter
a pre-organised PIN or simply press hash (#) to start
the Group Call.
Charges
Each member of the group only pays for their call
as per their own price plan rate
Callers are charged as a standard call to a T-Mobile
phone.
Group call terms and conditions
The Group call organiser must be in the UK, and
dial from a UK number.
Other Group call participants may be customers
of any other mobile or landline network.
A maximum of 20 customers may participate in the
same group call.
Only T-Mobile customers calling from their handset
can use the three prefix for easy access. Customers
not using a T-Mobile handset need to call 07953
953 953, then enter the organisers number when prompted.
Calls to the T-Mobile Group call service will
be charged as a call to a T-Mobile customer, and
will not be included in any free minute allowance
you may have.
Each customer will pay for their call into the
Group call service.
Charging will begin as soon as the customer is
connected to the Group call service.
Group call participants must use tone-dialling
phones.
