Trafficline provides you with access to live British
motorway and major trunk road traffic information. Advance
knowledge of congestion ahead means you can chose an
alternative route and avoid the frustrations of being
caught in a jam.
Through a UK network of roadside sensors, Trafficline
gives you the latest traffic information in the area
around your mobile and allows you to find delays and
problems on your journey before you hit them.
How Does It Work?
Prior to traveling or whilst on route (only when safe
to do so):
• Dial 1200 from your mobile. Trafficline™
will locate your mobile and give you an up-to-the-minute
traffic report for that area.
• Or for up-to-date traffic information further
a field;
• Press 1 then the motorway number for information
relating to an individual motorway. E.g. for M60 information,
key 1 then 60.
• Press 2 then the trunk road number for information
relating to an individual road. E.g. for A58 information,
key 1 then 58.
What does it cost?
Trafficline™ costs 45p/minute for all O2 customers,
and most calls are considerably shorter than 1 minute.
