Get Started
Just because you're apart doesn't mean you can't catch
up with you friends at once. With Group Chat you can
talk to up to 19 of you closest friends at the same
time.
You can register for Group Chat by:
1 Sending a text to 2244. The text needs to be in the
following format:
*mother's maiden name* or *password of your choice*.
You will receive your secure PIN code by text.
2 Calling 2244 free* from your mobile and choose OPTION
4 to speak to a Group Conferencing Operator.
3 Applying Online via our web form
What you need to do
Whether you have lots of friends scattered around the
country or you are organising an event just follow the
instructions below to get chatting. • As the organiser
of the group chat you need to call 323 from an O2 mobile
of 07720 323 323 from any other phone.
• When prompted enter the PIN number we sent to
you when you registered and clearly state your name.
• Once you've done this, everyone will be united
in one group phone call.
What your friends and family need to do
• They need to know the time and date of the group
chat.
• They need to know your O2 mobile phone number.
• Ask them to call 323 from an O2 mobile, or 07720
323 323 from any other phone.
• Key in your mobile number then # and clearly
state their name.
• If they arrive before you, they'll simply be
put on hold until you join the group
