It has 24 frames per second video playback, and it also runs the Symbian 7.0 operating system. It also has features such as integrated GPS, camera, audio/video player, video calling and full messaging support. Yet all this has been shoehorned into a smaller device.

Java support is also included, as well as applications to playback and stream audio and video.

The A925 uses Motorola's proprietary QuickPrint handwriting recognition software. Their iTap software can also be used for typing messages.
